The first real event organized by AFSOPRS took place in Algeria, in the Algerian Sahara in Timimoun on March 4 – 5, 2007, upon the foundational session and meeting of the society in March 2006 in Tunis. Since this date AFSOPRS has organized 2- 3 oculoplastic sessions a year in the different founding countries:
